RISAS - RIQC RISAB Operations - 20/05/2011

Following a strategic review of the work programmes and activities of RIQC Ltd, RIQC has decided to withdraw from the RISAS Scheme with immediate effect. 

RIQC has actively promoted, supported and delivered RISAS assessments but has not been able to demonstrate to the satisfaction of the RSSB Accreditation Agency, the commitment and genuine desire RIQC has had, for the RISAS Scheme to be successful. 

RIQC is proud of the development work it has undertaken to lead the RISAS Scheme to 28 certificates, having been the pilot in at least three product groups and having delivered with high customer satisfaction over 23 assessments of which 14 suppliers were certificated. 

We are disappointed that the breadth of knowledge and experience we have brought to the RISAS Scheme has not been sufficient to influence its direction and application of the Scheme arrangements going forward. RIQC is unable to support at this time, the RSSB Accreditation Agency interpretation and application of the RISAS policies and arrangements. 

RIQC is concentrating on its core business streams of UKAS accredited certification to ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001; also to supplying bespoke and supply chain audits to the highest standards.
