RIQC Limited has awarded RISAS certification to Angel Trains.

RIQC Limited is the first RISAB to award certification for the Rail Industry Supplier Approval Scheme, RISAS, S01 product group, S01B, S01C, S01D, S01E. Angel Trains Limited have become the first organisation to receive RISAS certification for the Procurement of Maintenance/Repair.

RIQC Limited was impressed by the level of competence and industry engagement demonstrated by Angel Trains Limited staff throughout the Assessment process.

RISAS is a cross-industry scheme that provides transferable assurance of quality of the suppliers of critical products and services for rolling stock overhaul. It provides a third party assessment process covering the individual's competence as well as the processes of suppliers. Crucially, it removes the need to have separate audits of a supplier by multiple industry 'duty holders'.
