Steve Annable has joined RIQC Limited as the Certification Body Manager. Steve has worked in the Rail Industry for nearly 36 years and has significant experience in all aspects of health, safety and environmental management, including the development, implementation and auditing of Quality, Safety and Environmental Management Systems including Integrated Management Systems.

 

Steve is a qualified health, safety, quality and environmental professional, a Chartered Safety and Health Practitioner and a Practicing Member of IEMA.

RIQC Ltd attains accredited transition from ISO 14001:2004 to 14001:2015

RIQC are delighted to announce with the support of Abellio ScotRail, accreditation to ISO 14001:2015 has now been achieved. As the pilot organisation Abellio ScotRail are the first to achieve accredited certification to this updated standard with RIQC.

RIQC Ltd attains UKAS accreditation to BS 50001:2011 (Energy Management System Certification)

RIQC Limited is delighted to announce its achievement of UKAS accreditation to BS 50001:2011, Energy Management System Certification.

 

RIQC can now offer accredited certification to this international standard for Energy Management that deals with the energy impact of an organisation to all of its existing and future clients. BS 50001:2011 provides a framework for organisations to improve their energy efficiency and costs.

 

BS 50001:2011 can be integrated with existing management systems and if an organisation is certificated to BS EN ISO 14001:2004 the framework is already there. This now compliments RIQC Limiteds portfolio of services; ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 18001 accredited certification.

 

As an established Certification Body whose principal activities are within the rail sector, this is considered a significant and important achievement. RIQC can now offer a wider range of services to the industry continuing its drive for further system improvements.

ISO 9001:2015 - Quality Management Systems Standard & ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System Standard Revised

The ISO 9001 Quality Management System Standard and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System Standard has been revised and issued.

 

What does this mean for our clients?

 

Organisations are granted a three-year transition period after the revision has been published to migrate their quality and/or environmental management system to the new edition of the standards. RIQC will be in touch with its clients in the coming months to advise on the main changes.
